Damage toBaggage

Baggage damage canbevisible orinvisible; itmayalso bebaggage content damage. Passengers arecompensated only forvisible damage. Upon discovery ofbaggage damage, thepassenger should apply toaBaggage Claim Agent andproceed with him/her toexecute thenecessary documents.

According to Article 118of the Air Code of the Russian Federation, the carrier shall bear responsibility forloss, shortage ordamage tothebaggage after acceptance foraircarriage anduntil issuance tothepassenger.

The following traffic documents shall be attached to the passengers baggage irregularity statement: air ticket or its copy, removable stub of the baggage tag, PIR with a detailed description of the passengers baggage packing damage.
